The final assesment


Hello Everyone
As a health and wellness professional, we need to have to have developed psychologically, spiritually, and physically. We can’t teach someone how to reach this, without have reached it yourself. If we can’t reach it our self’s, how can we teach others. I am still working on all three. I have a lot of work to do, but I am determined to get it done.

                I score myself very low. I need to start working out, I have a workout plan in place, I just need to get up and do it. For the psychologically and spiritually, I have no clue to where to even start. I have a lot of work to do, but I am starting to make a plan in place. I want to reach a level of complete health and wellness.

                For the physical part of this, I want to start work out 5 days a week, I would like to do insanity. At least for one month, then do other workouts. I feel like if I start the insanity then I can jump start working out. I did it before, it’s a fun workout, but hard. For the psychological part, I want to find a relaxation tape that works on relaxing my body, and start doing that 3 days a week, to try to relieve my stress level. I have a lot of personal stuff going on, that I need to control and stop letting them control me. For the spiritual part, to be honest I have no idea what to do. I don’t know where to even start.

                The only way to be able to reach this is to just do it. I have a problem with psyching myself out. I can do it later, oh I don’t feel good, and I am too tired. I can come up with a thousand reasons, but then I remember how good I feel when I am working out. I feel like I am on top of the world, like no matter what comes at me I can take on the world.

                I am going to take pictures of myself, every other week. I am also going to start a journal that way I can track my progress. I feel like this is very important to make sure you track yourself. When you write things out, you can see what your progress is, and even where you are lacking at. Knowing what I want to reach is the only way I know to do it.

Reviewing

Hello everyone

I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

When looking at all of the exercise that we have done. I think the two that I can reflex on are Loving-kindness and visualization. Loving-kindness is like opening your heart, and letting people in. Also visualization was one that I really liked. I can't remember if we talked about forgiveness over the blogs, but I really like that one. It has to be my favorite because forgiveness true forgiveness is hard to come by and hard to do but we all need to.

Practice what you teach

Hello everyone

I hope everyone has had a great day, and a happy thanksgiving.

In order for someone to actually listen to you about fitness and nutrition. If you are not leading a healthy lifestyle how can you get somebody else to. You can't teach something that you don't even practice. You can't tell someone that they need to loose weight so they are healthier, when you are bigger then they are. I mean you can but people wont really take you seriously.  You can't teach what you don't practice. Everyday I try to grow with my life in all aspects. I am slowly getting there.
