Mediation Practice

Hello Everyone

Universal Loving-kindness

It was kind of weird when I was doing this exercise, I felt a relief. To the people that have hurt me or has disappointed me. I don't what you are suppose to feel when you do these types of thing. I know that I need to practice on forgiving people and hoping for them to be well in life. I should want the same things with my self.

Integral Assessment

I didn't get much out of this one. I didn't completely understand this one. I know that I got a lot to work on.

  1. Forgiveness is a funny thing. It can be extremely hard in some circumstances, but sometimes the process of forgiveness is more for yourself than for them. I like how you explained it as a feeling of relief. I have held on to stuff that always made me angry when I thought about, but once I learned to actually forgive them it no longer had any affect on me. I may never have the same respect for someone or trust them, but I can still forgive them and lose those emotions that have control over me when I think about them. Good luck on future exercises!
